Mariam Touba, Reference Librarian, studied History and Political Science at Rutgers University and holds an M.A. in Librarianship from the University of Denver. She has served the New-York Historical Society since 1981.
Laura Washington, Vice President of Communications, has managed communications and media strategy for the New-York Historical Society since May 2005. She has a B.A. in History from Vassar College. She serves on WNET’s Tri-State Community Advisory Board, is a member of WNET’s Programming Committee, and is a founding member of the Council of Urban Professionals Leadership Board.
Susan Kriete, Reference Librarian, holds an M.L.S. from the Palmer School, Long Island University, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law. She has been fielding reference requests in the Department of Prints, Photographs and Architectural Collections of the New-York Historical Society since 2007.
