Plants with human bodies that throw parties called mandrakes. All-powerful wands modeled after sinewy snakes. A ferocious dog with three heads aptly named "Fluffy." Hanging around inside J.K. Rowling's head could be fun, mystifying and maybe even downright dangerous.
