EVENT DETAILS

Generations of New-York Historical visitors have enjoyed our stunning, celebrated collection of Hudson River School landscapes. But did you know that many of these works came to our collection when they were still considered contemporary art? Join Dr. Linda S. Ferber, Museum director emerita, as she explores landscape imagery as a narrative device that embodies powerful ideas about nature, culture, and history.
